LOLOLOLOL, well I guess i'm the only one here who isn't biased so i'll tell you what I think!!! FIRST of all, I have my '96 Neon and a (start flaming guys, your good at that) '84 Honda Crx. Now I love my Neon JUST as much as any Honda i've had, and I bought it for $20 with 400,000km after it had been sitting for 4-5 years WITH THE WHEELS OFF (chassis sunk into the ground) in the dirt. I think it's hilarious that you guys say a Neon is the only one with a Tao, I have the same connection with my Neon as my Crx (I LOVE them both to death). Now I know alot of loser Honda Heads, but I also know quite a few loser Neon Needers. I love all cars and give them all a chance, I don't get this hating ****. Just because some morons think there Honda is fast and rices it out, doesn't mean Honda's are junk. I say the same thing about Neons to Honda ppl. Anyways, if you wanna know what a REAL junk car that ppl think are nice try Cavaliers or Sunfires! Real garbage there. Useless pushrod engines & flex beams rear suspensions?!?? Instead of being ignorant and just thinking Honda's suck, do some research on them. There nice cars, just turned into garbage a lot of the time by Goombas. I learned how cool Neons were after I got mine. Coil Packs & Returnless fuel systems?!?!?!? I LOVE that ****!!!!! The Neon was ahead of it's time and i'll love it (AND my Crx!) forever!!!!!!!

i really like certain Civic and ****
they have nice bodies and are very reliable

i just dont like the status they have gotten over the years
it's really dumb when a new kid to this whole "racing" or in general car "scene"
thinks his civic and whoop anyone's ***

which is the only reason i dont like civics
and they have no tq...
but all in all

i do like civics
swap a LS b18 and a V-TEC head and make it an LS V-TEC or but a k20 in a little EG
i think thats ****in sick when people do that

it's like us putting SRT-4 engines in our 1st gens

You can blame the "Fast and the Furious" movie for Honda "mystique" that it now carries.

 

i actually just hate Hondas in general...but there are a few that i do like... i like the older Civics, the CRX, and the old 80s Accord with the flip lights lol... but all in all... i would never buy one but thats just me... give that Honda to a person who wants it and save the cheaper Neon for me... more people who hate Neons = cheaper Neons for people who want them lol

 

now maybe it's just me but the question to ask is if you have a problem with honda bashing and think the hondas are better than the neon........why are you even on a subforum dedicated to the neon only, I mean it's called DODGEforum.com and last I knew Dodge never built a honda. But hey that's just me for what it's worth.

I love the people under that video clip still trying to discredit it. particularly the guy who says "i looked up this race and the neon used nos and the viper didnt so its unfair." While I do understand why some people say nos is cheating and what not, its a little different when the viper comes with like 4 times the horsepower of a neon. The nos isnt helping THAT much. i dont care if they put a jet engine on it... if a neon got going that fast, its a proud moment in the history of man kind.

 

Len's neon didn't use Nitrous, but did have a turbo.
