Default Hp Questions

I have a 98 dohc neon with 60mm throttle body , aem cai and, mopar ecu. If I added the spacers they sell on neongoodies and an underdrive pulley would it shave a couple tenths off the quarter mile? Also what do think it is running now . What do you think would be my best option to gain hp for a little amount of cash. Thanks

Don't mean to burst youre bubble, but the AEM intake isn't a CAI, the 60mm TB isn't helping you "that" much. The TB Spacer may help some if you get a header on there and the UDP will definitely help you out.

Weight redux is free and easy.

taking off the tb will help.
60mm is too big if that's all of your mods.
udp won't really be noticeable. get a longtube, port the intake manifold.

Ok. So what if I did get a longtube header and p&p intake. Around how much more hp would I have?

get it dynoed when your done and tell us yourself!

the udp doesnt add hp by the way
it frees up hp from all the stuff like the a/c

the manifolds will probably give you a lot though

A LT Header along with a ported and polished intake "could" yield you around 8-12 HP depending on other mods.

Well you have a SOHC so you probably have plastic intake that is already smooth. But some SOHC's and all DOHC's have an aluminum intake manifold. If you look at the outside of it, the inside looks just the same....ROUGH! You can take off the manifold and port and polish it. HERE is link to a how-to!
