Do headers and intake manifolds do better for neons than they do for civics?
Because i had a civic dx and it was slower than anything until i put some headers and intake on it then it was pretty quick

yea they will when you add them

anything to a dx makes it quicker
they are the slowest civics you can get
with like 70-90tq hahaha

Default RE: Which should I do?

usually people get the headers first

i've heard that pacesetter is very good for sohc and i'm probably going to be getting that for my neon
but for dohc i don't know

the headers cost less

pacesetter headers are i think 140
and the intake manifold i was looking at (an indy one) is $500

jsut get the ATX TB and CAI along with the header and you should be fine

The Indy isn't a very good intake. It's a PITA to install and just about everyone that I have seen install it, ins't happy. It's nice to look at and I wanna say some people have noticed a drop in power.

For the SOHC, you can use the Magnum intake!

Get a junkyard intake and port/polish it yourself and save some money as opposed to buying an intake.
