I got that classic white flaky paint, and need to know the best way to remove it. I'm going to primer it afterwards but probably just a rattle can special. I don't really want to put a whole lot of effort into this. There is no body damage or rust of any kind so that should make it easier I hope. I really need your help on this because I'm tired of the cool dairy cow paint job. It's a real eye sore.
maybe try sand paper, or a pressure washer...should get the loose paint off....then you could always primer over the spots that are gone, and touch it up whenever more flakes off.....
I want to remove it all at once, a pressure washer ain't a bad idea. Maybe $5.00 at a car wash would work. Any other ideas. Any cool chemicals, hopefully they won't destroy th rubber.
the primer is bad on them so if u flake off ur paint and repaint it then down the road it will most likely just reflake , if your planning 2 keep the car and not have it flake u wud probbly have 2 sand right down 2 bare metal and reprimer then paint .
