Dito--pm me
ORIGINAL: BlackRT?

Ok I've read just about every post in the forum and I'm still confused! Keep in mind I'm not real familiar with the modern comdustion engine in these new fangled cars- J/K but here's it goes...

1. My engine has 138,000+ miles on it a messed up piston (piston rod and rocker arm are held by a screw, my screw is broken), not sure which one

2. I have about $3,000 at my disposale

3. Rebuild it or replace it ( we can rebuild you, make you faster, stronger, we have the technology! )

4. If replace, which engine would be the best?

5. THX!

I have a complete Dohc motor for sale in the classified section if your still looking for a motor.

Allmost done srt swap ( CAN NOT BE DONE IN 3 DAYS) Try 3 months,ok maybe a little less[:@].You could for 3 grand build your engine up nicely with a low boost turbo ( 6-8lbsboost) .I've heard that if you use two head gaskets and 5lbs extra torque on head bolts(studs are better yet)your engine will even last for a reasonable amount of time. But to do it in 3 days ???,planning is everything. I was running a low boost turbo before swap and it was a blast-,but as you know more is better
