I heard you could put in a jeep tb wit sum mods. MTX = 55mm ATX = 60mm
is that tru? if it is how hard is it to adapt it to the intake plenum?

i haven't heard that

but you'll probably need an adapter if they even make one...

i dont think you can just start drilling holes or anything for it to fit on the intake manifold

MTX TB is 52mm not 55mm. I wouldn't upgrade to the Jeep TB unless you have some serious breathing mods done or you could hurt performance.

I wouldn't place a lot of faith into anything you hear from Gary.
Jeep tb's require some modding, but you can usually pick one up cheap. You can find used Modern 60mm cheap every now and again that require no modifications. I'm hampered by my 58mm tb currently...

so I guess I wont go wit that idea...I dun want a 60mm, I think thats too big. I only p&p'd my intake plenum, and I'm gettin headers in a few days. so I no 60 mite b a lil excessive. I was thinkin 55, but I guess I could go to a machinist for it. But is there anything I could do to make the air flow better or sumn? Does half shafting do anything?
