how much am i looking at for a MTX swap/DOHC MTX swap?
I have everything you would need for the MTX swap if you are interested, minus the PCM and tranny. I have those too, but you might be able to get them cheaper from a junkyard closer to you.

I am going to be the old fart and tell you to stay out of street racing and keep it on the track...Alright now that I am done preaching Iwill get to the business.

First, I would investigate a 2.4 if you are willing to do the DOHC swap, just do the DOHC 2.4 swap instead.

As much as you like to go remember that you have to stop, look into a rear disc conversion kit, and power slot rotors for the front.

Dont waste your time with the intakes on ebay unless you find an iceman, the rest are a waste. You will be better off with the stock set up and a new K&N air filter.

If you are going to do exhaust do it right...Fu$# the fart can and get a real exhaust, midas sells a nice stainless version for our cars, and I like the exhaust tone.

There are many other tid bits but these are a few to get yu started, and dont fall for the ebay computers, they suck, get a Mopar Performance Computer for your year or get an AF/x for your year, those are the only two worth the money.

Although they are both nice for show purposes, rear discs don't stop any better than drums and neither do power slotted rotors.

There's an FAQ somewhere on the web relating to how to set up an SOHC.

if you want an easy swap then just do a dohc 2.0....but if you wanna put a little work into it then go 2.4......but i wouldnt do the 2.4 unless you had plans on a turbo
