this weekend i went to lowes to chek out some pvp piping for a cold air intake didnt buy anything bc i wanted to take a look at my car first. I went home to see where run the piping, and i couldnt find a nice place to put it, my question is, what sized piping should i get? where should i put it? how did you guys make yours?

 

how much more torque does a 2.4L have?

 

Do not use PVC pipe to make a CAI, use exhaust pipe to make one. I think you can use 2.5" piping along with some couplers to make it work.

Any auto parts store should have it. Measure the diameter of the TB opening first to make sure what size pipe to buy.

 

a 2.4L has around 160 torque, or 160 MORE? haha, im guessing 160 total torque

 

Hmm, Wikipedia gives Torque as "245 ft·lbf @3000 rpm (2003 model), 250 ft·lbf @2200 rpm (2004-05 models)"

 

thats probally the 3.0l instead of the 2.4l

the 2.4 that you would use for the swap should come out of the late 90's cars
