my wing
ORIGINAL: spudsterier
if the air moves under the wing then you will get lift.....
i personally would rather have downforce then lift
atleast downforce will put wome more pressureon the back tires, lift will of course take the force off the back tires......just remember you still need tracion on the back tires too

air pushing down on the wing (how its set up now)...wouldnt that push the back down, also taking pressure OFF the front? i would think THAT would give lift at extremely high speed...not the other way around.
ill post some close up pictures of my wing later to show you exactly what im talking about...the little turn in the wing blade at the tip.
it wouldnt be noticable until high speeds....but non the less it would still slightly be there.....
your spoiler can basically work like an airplane wing....same basic principle
at high sppeds, wind moving under a spoiler will cause a slight bit of lift on the back of the car
