Default Battery Relocate

I'm relocating my battery to my trunk so i have room for my CAI, but how do i hold all of the wires and the fuse box inplace without flopping around? Do i just get twist ties or do i cut out the middle of my battery box and have it there for the support?

You'd cut out the center of the battery box or use zip ties?

atleast if you just cut out the center, or everything but the back piece, then you wont have to worry about things comming to loose

I just tip tied mine, there was plenty of places to put ties, its been holding 40days+ now no problem. Just aslong as it doesnt get in the way of the trans linkage (mines auto) you shouldnt have any problem. I also ran 4awg wire, and cut the one red one coming off the fuse box and left it there taped up. That way its still like a positive under the hood, im doing a remote start soon anyways too, and Ive got a seperate wire + connection I can still use

when i did mine i cut out the section where the fuse box connects to the battery(two clip on point) and took some screws and screwed it fast to the inner-fender well next to the ecu. that way there its not a sloppy wire tie mess and you still don't have the battery box hanging around

It seems cutting it would be a better idea, it doesnt look as clean with the box being held up by zip ties, but honestly I dont care, its a dd neon its not like im going to show off its oily stock sohc auto under the hood
