do they make any that will work on a neon or what

 

as far as i know there are no superchargers for the neons...just turbos.....i dont think there would be enough room for a supercharger anyways

 

a friend of mine SAID he had a supercharged neon, but i never saw it...plus you would get alot more horsepower just turbo-ing it.

 

they dont make one for it however the vortec is universal. youll have to make a mountig bracket. you may be able to mount it over the altinater and add a longer belt. hope your good at winging it.

 

a vorteched neon...[sm=gears.gif] that would be fun...hood clearence may be an issue...oh s#it, now you got me thinking...it might involve alot of turns, but I think it is doable. You will spend more on custom fabrication then anything else, and I am not entirely sure that you would see the gains you do with a turbo kit.

I am going to spend some time measuring in the motor compartment monday and see where a head unit could fit, and then see where piping would fit and how big you could fit into the space. This would be a great oppurtunity to find a new place to put a k&N air filter also.

no the supercharger from vortec. anythings possable, ive made mounts for them before and its not that hard but ive never tried it on a fwd.

 

Oh OK...I think the only reason to having a S/C on a neon would be witha a 2.4 swap and an auto tranny.

 

a s/c is acualy a safer way for a daily driver.but it would love those long auto gears.

 

the best part of a s/c is u dont have to wait for the boost so y wouldnt it be better the a turbo u got boost faster
