Default no start

My sons 98 neon did not want to start after he came home from work. I looked at it but
I am not sure whats wrong with it, when you turn the key forward you get nothing but
the lights, radio, fuel pump everything works. I cleaned the battery posts and also
tried jumping it but still nothing. If there is any suggestions on what to do next it would be helpful.

Did you check your plugs? or it could be a faulty starter....

Hope this helps

I will have to check the starter tonight, I don't think it's the plugs.
The motor will not even crank over.

Thanks

I'd check your fuses and relays first before changing the starter.

That happened to mine a while back ago but after i pulled the starter out, tested it only to find it working perfectly, i touched a screwdriver on one of the terminals and it gave me enough amps...but if you already cleaned the terminals and messed with it, then go w/ the starter
