Default How possible is this.

Ok, so I have a 1995 Neon DOHC Sport and I found this and was wondering if this is really possible. Also how bad do you think the Torque steer would be and about how much weight would be added? One last question...I know there was both a Magnum V8 in the Ram and Magnum V6 in the Dakota...which do you think this is for? As I re-read this I have another question....does this use the neon tranny or use the Magnum and make the neon rwd?

Thanks for all the help!

Here is the instrustions I found (Magnum engine into 1st gen Neon)

The magnum engine the instructions are referring to is the 2.0L SOHC engine that is in the 2000 and up R/T and ACR neons, not a V6 or V8 magnum. The 2nd gen neons don't have a DOHC engine option, but rather the 150HP SOHC Magnum engine.

I just chalked it up to lack of knowledge, especially after reading this part of the post that I bolded...

Yea that is why I asked it didn't seem like either engines would fit in there but those were the only two Magnums I knew about. I knew the 2nd gen didn't have a DOHC but wasn't aware of the Magnum option.

Oh they may fit (there have been V8 engine swaps into a neon before), but it isn't simple at all.

Thats not really a neon though. Its just a tube chassis with a neon body hung on it. Anything is possible but not very likely its gonna work too well without a chassis with any old body you want on it.
