Default Shaky

My steering wheel will randomly start shaking from left to right doesn't have a particular pattern that I have noticed just kinda starts shaking and stops randomly. Also when I let go of the steering wheel it automatically starts to turn left. Any ideas? My front tires are quite worn and Ive bumped a few curbs when trying to do a u-turn

get new tires, and look at your tie rods. your tires might also be out of balance a little.

Neons are very sensitive to wheel balance, so tell whoever balances it, to do it to the nearest 1/8 ouce instead of 1/4 ounce.

It might be something major, you better use your eyes and check it out. If you dont know how, get someone that does, if you lose a tie rod end or ball joint at 70 MPH your goin for a ride, or like my buddy ---- head on into another car.[:'(]

i would check the Tie rod ends first that is a major safty issue jack the car up till the front tire is off the ground and wiggle the tire from side to side
maybe best if you take it to a shop where they can put it on a hoist. go to one where they will let you in the bay so you can watch them

ya just ask the honda/acura guys everyone that owns them will tell its scary,,they have to change them both every month,,,lol,,,,ya they r cheap on gas but the money they save goes in tie rods and dukt tape to cover the rust,,,,lol,,,,,if u do have bad tie rods or ball joints and cant fix it right off just take it extra easy,,
