bore size
anyone know what the standard bose size is of the dohc block????
and
i figure the 8.8:1 pistons would work the best, but how bad would it be to have 10.5:1
im just wondering because im thinking of ordering my bottom end stuff in a day or 2 and just need to know some opinions before i spend the money

the lower the compression....the better for the turbo..(spud i know u already knew that[sm=insomnia.gif]) running high comp pistons i dont think would be a good idea....
which pistons are you going with spud... weisco or je?

now i just got done last year running 10.5:1 on my turbo boosted quicker than hell and had massive mid power. i made it 3 months of beating it on the track before it blew. i was surprized it made it that long. if you dont get to crazy with the boost and watch your tune it may last you quite long you will deffinately feel a low end difference. but keep in mind i was at 22psi and 100shot nitrious and stomping on it constantly.
well i would be beating the hell out of the car and i only want to run 15psi. and no nitrous.....
i just want to get the most out of this motor as i can for the money.....
i only wanna use the JE pistons
i just wanna know the main difference between running high or low compression......but i guess that i might as well just use low so i wont be rebuilding the motor again too long down the road[&:]
