Use a quality copper plug such as Champion or NGK. More expensive plugs don't benefit the neon at all and they still need to be replaced every 10,000 miles, so stick with what is cheap!

My car idles about 1500 rpm....but that might be because of the mp pcm.Do you really need to change plugs every 10,000 miles.? I got about 40,000 on my plugs now...lol

Halfhemi, you really need to get all the codes for us to figure out whats goin on.The misfire can be caused by more than a cpl things...as das mentioned. As far as it running good when its cold, then misfiring when its hot...that kinda stumps me.Unless its misfing all the time, and you just notice it more when the car is hot. I dunno....get some codes!!

The Mopar PCM doesn't have anything to do with your high idle. And yes, you should replace your plugs every 10,000 miles...your neon will thank you.
