What size TB does a stock DOHC 97 NEON have? Also what would be a good upgrade? I want to make my STOCK neon faster, I wanna go all motor. Any tips what I should do? let me know! Thanks Kenny

Ok my neon is mannual transmition. Which one would mine be? 49mm? Also would it be good if I put a bigger TB on my car?? If so what size should I use??

find an automatic neon (scrapped parts car) or go to a junkyard and get an automatic tb its better than the manual 1,,lol and get a cai,,cold air intake.

An ATX TB (52mm) or a 55mm MPx TB would be fine. Anything bigger can hurt your performance until you start making serious HP at the wheels. I'd stick with the 52 mm TB for now, 3.0L intake, UDP and maybe a Mopar performance PCM. Read these threads for more info...

have u compared how much hp u will get by doing this and how much it will cost........compared to a turbo...just a thought
