Default Question on Transmission

Hi, I am thinking about buying a 96 neon. I think that it is a good deal for the price that the kid wants for it. I have never mest around with one before. I just want to know how hard it is to change out a transmission on it (because its broke). Is it as simple as suport the engine and unbolt it or do you need to take the engine out. Thanks for your help!

Changing the tranny is pretty simple. You do not have to pull the engine to do it.
