I live just south of Roanoke Va. If anyone lives near me and wants to do this I would be happy to help you and we could take pictures and make a tutorial. I understand that this could be scary if you have never seen it done but this is really not hard to do and once you see it done you will understand that.

I have to order a new gasket and then I will make make my attempt for what it is worth I won't buy the gasket for about another week and until then I will be asking alot of ?'s and learning as much as possible hopefully I won't break anything, but I love to try and do things on my truck. I don't want to, but I am prepared to buy another window, if I screw this up I'll take it to the shop next time

o.k. I took the oem window out and now all I have to do is put the slider in. the local glass repair people were going to charge me $160 if I bought the slider and the gasket and brought truck to them. so decided to try myself. me and the wife will try to get this done when I get home anyone looking for step by step instructions go to (installing back glass, FORDMUSCLE.COM) shows them doing a gasket type on an older ford. I'll let you know when I finish.

Good pictures that show what I tried to explain earlier. I like to do the top first but it is the same either way.

alright it's in and i must say it looks good the only problem is that it is the wrong window I found out that in 72-75 the windows were 55 x 13 5/8 and in 75-92 they were 55 11/16 x 14 3/8 and guess which one I ended up with just because I did not measure. so let this be a lesson to you MEASURE everything. I followed "seal's" advice and found the tutorial on fordmuscle.com under installing back glass and it went in perfectly in about 20 min. too bad it was just about 1in too short. well have fun

I want some 60/40 seats where can I find some that will replace the bench seat but not take up to much space in d150 preferably some that match my int. I know the junk yard but out of what. b2000, ranger, s10, seats out of a fullsize are too big and go too far under the steering wheel and I found the correct rear window at cr laurence for $100

Maybe a Dakota seat? Can't really tell you know to get besides that. Just make sure it'd be wide enough for your truck.
