new to dodges 318/360

Default new to dodges 318/360

what do i need to swap from one to another... i currently have a 318 that im suspecting burns oil... if its bad im going to put a 360 in its place... are the fly wheels/ torque converters the same? thanks in advance.

You need matching torque converter/flywheel and vibration dampener for whichever engine you use.

so a the torque converter in my truck currently will not work on a fly wheel on a 360? i plan to buy a complete motor...

I believe you need a different torque converter.

if the 360 you are looking at has a fly wheel i think you might run into a few problems with the crank and being able to put a torque converter on it

so i need to find a 360 with a fly wheel and then find a torque converter from a truck with a 360 and hope it works with my trans?

is your truck standard or automatic? if it is automatic it would so much easier if you found a 360 with a torque converter. if it is standard it should not make much of a difference.

it is an automatic... 3spd without overdrive...
