So i killed my slant six. i was on way home form work and heard a poof then i saw a bolt flying down the road. i look underneath to see if i blow
the oil pan didnt find anything, got it towed to my buddy shop. told him i couldnt find anything wrong so he pops the hood and says look here
this is what he saw




really sucks i wanted to turbo this motor to see what it could do. i striped the truck for parts. Not a really a big deal found a 88 with a 318 tbi.



heres my new truck, gonna paint orange and black, then put it back to carburated, i have a 318 that is carburated maybe supercharge it

 

That sucks, but I take it the truck was in bad shape since you parted it out just due to a blown motor?

 

frame was pretty bad, body was ok, the one i got now the doors and fender are crap, thats why i took the parts

 

that is pretty impressive. i hope my 318 never looks like that!
