A lot of parts stores used to carry them. I know they are available on Ebay.

You have AC, Why delete it? If it doesn't work fix it! Seems AC is something people can live without or to cheap to fix. I like pulling up to a fairly recent year car with the windows down at 90* in my 20+ year old vehicle, The ac blasting and the windows up!

I always fix inoperable a/c. Around here you REALLY need a/c in the summer. It doesn't get as hot as other areas of the country because of the humidity. The sun just can't heat that much water up. I've had old beaters for sale that sold quick because of the a/c.

The ac compressor wont fit with an Edlebrock intake.

Everyone good now????

Do your windows ever fog up from your breath in the winter? Then you need the ac to get rid of it. If one was determined enough you can get it to work. They make kits for big blocks(440 6 packs) that never had ac from the factory due to clearance issues. My 78 power wagon has the RV2 (V twin) compressor with an Edlebrock intake(single plane). I made sure the intake was for AC because they made both.

The heater will clear the windows just fine. Especially if you crack the windows open a touch.
