Default Adj. Drag Link

You could use an adjustable drag-link. I'm surprised that your D60 didn't come with one.

I'll say it again; you would be amazed at the difference that cross-over steering will do for your steering\handling.

What is odd with you drive shaft? I'm getting ready to have my front one shortened but I'm thinking about having a new one made for the rear instead of having it lengthened.

Edit: here is the one I just removed

Adjustable drag link is the key. By having a steeper angle, it in essence made it shorter, meaning the pitman arm had to turn farther one way for the ends to connect, making the wheel off-center.

The driveshaft is like that because someone has installed a slip yoke eliminator kit. It moves the slip yoke from the T-case to the drive shaft.

It wouldn't have had a slip yoke on the x-fer case. Dodge 4x4's had a fixed yoke on the transfer case and slip splines built into the drive shaft. I can't say this is the case for all years but but all the ones I've had and back to my son's 83 RC all did.

That is normal for the drive shaft.

As far as the cross-over; you can get a good kit that fits with no issues here:
http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog...0crossover.htm

You will need to move your steering box to the 2wd position on the frame which is straight forward, simply remove the steering box then the bracket from the back of the box and bolt it back to the frame. I do however recommend you either install one of the kits that Jim over on RCC makes or one of the factory steering box braces.

Here is a "How To":

Digging this up again.

Decided Im gonna go ahead and do this insead of getting an adjustable drag link. One of my buddies did it and he really liked it so now I just asked Jungle at RCC about getting the reinforcement bracket. Just hopefully I will find somewhere than can weld it up for me since I cant. most likly have to get the whole thing done somewhere

EDIT
Just found this brace for the same thing. http://www.dodgeconnection.com/catal...66/4541374.htm

Anyone know anything about it or used it? Would be easier for me since no welding required
