Well Im gonna have to keep the drums for now. Dont have the money to do disc brakes swaps yet. Figure Ill upgrade the cylinders to 1-tons and replace the shoes. Maybe clean and paint the drums too.

Discovered my RWAL speed sensor wire is disconnected. I guess that could explain why my rear wheels lock up so easily. Is there any other issues this could cause? It wont plug back it, looks like the old socket has something (probably the old plug from my original axles) broke off in there so Id have to replace the plug to re-connect. Which isnt much of a problem as seeing as I have another true I can salvage from.

The RWAL in these trucks was pretty much a placebo anyway. There was a much respected member of the forums who bought his 89 new and claimed that the RWAL never worked.

Mine never worked, but the truck wasn't exactly new. Hahaha. I had my mechanic bypass the ABS valve thingy on the back of the frame. Do that, and unplug the computer behind the glove box, and it will be like the RWAL never existed. I've heard of some people having trouble with the valve if left inactive in the line, so I'd suggest bypassing it.
