C - Have you checked and set the timing per specifications?
I have not checked the timing. The pressure regulator is new and I put new fuel lines from the tank to the throttle body and back to the tank.

It could also be in the tank, part of the diagnostic procedure in the FSM to remove the fuel sending unit and check the return line on the tank side of the sending unit.

Again, 22 psi is too high but it could be gauge inaccuracy before going and pulling the sending unit; check your timing and I would also check for excessive timing chain deflection.

I replaced the TPS and the IAC valve. The IAC came with a different bracket and stamped on the bracket it said" extend shaft before mounting". I made a mark on the old bracket, since I had to change them out and extended the shaft out to that line. Was that right? I am assuming this adjusts the engine idle but how do I know when it is right? The truck has no tach.

Also, when I manually work the throttle to simulate heavy acceleration I can see that fuel is not spraying out of the injector it is kinda sputtering out and that's when the truck sputters. Clean them or replace them?

yea yea...I know. You first said it could be a bad injector. The TPS and IAC were bad too. The spray looked normal when it was idling but went to a dribble when I worked the throttle. My new injectors should be here Monday and I'll know then.

I changed the injectors today and the truck improved about 97%. There is still a slight hesitation under heavy load so I am going to take a youtube class on checking the timing and take a look at that. Do you thing that with a dirty inlector maybe my plugs need to be changed again or can I clean them and put them back in?

your plugs should be fine but if you want take em out clean em and check the gap... hesitation could be a slight vacuum leak also

The dreaded vacuum leak. I checked vac lines when this started. I cranked the truck and sprayed carb cleaner on each vac hose. I didn't notice a change n idle. I assume the only way to really check is to hook up a vac gauge to each line? I also changed all the vac lines coming off the throttle body.
