I got a 1984 dodge ram 50 it's having a whining noise coming from the rear end it's only whine under acceleration when you let off I don't hear it. And can really only hear it when I hit around 30 mph and up. What could it be. I have already checked the wheels they are tight no movement. Thanks for reading and any info.

 

You have a bearing going bad. That's gonna be fun to figure out which one.......

 

yea I know that's the fun part. Lol but my rear end is welded up on the back side the only side I can unbolt and look in is from where the drive shaft hooks to the rear end. My thing is if I undo the nuts on the rear will the chuck just fall out. Are there any video on any ram 50

 

Welded up on the back side???? What differential do you have in there??

 

It's just the stock one that came out in the dodge 50's and I few other Chrysler. Where there should be a inspection plate like on other truck this one don't

 

That truck is made by Mitsubishi with a dodge emblem on it! It is not from Chrysler!
