Default 1987 D100 A/C High Pressure Switch?

Does anyone know if there is a high pressure A/C cutoff switch in this system? Some of my wiring got burnt, so the wiring to the A/C compressor no longer works. I'm considering just hardwiring a simple system to bring power to the A/C compressor and have a switch run to the cab. I would have the line go through the A/C cycling switch on the low pressure line, but I can't seem to find any high pressure switch. Any good reasons not to hardwire this?

There is a high pressure switch somewhere. It isn't ON the compressor by any chance is it?? Not having one, you run the danger of over pressurizing the system, and something blowing up. Not a good scene.

I don't see a switch on the compressor, only a connector for two wires to give it power (I currently have this disconnected). I definitely don't want the pressure to get too high and have it blow up... that's why I'm trying to figure out whether there is a high pressure switch or not. Here's some photos of the A/C components.

When setting my truck up for electric fans, I used this switch. It has a circuit to cycle the cooling fan, based on pressure, and a high limit cutout in case the fan fails.

But if you are just looking for a cutout for high pressure, you can get a switch such as this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPCO-HIGH-...QAAOSwo6lWFm3v

They make several different settings, which can be seen in the second picture. You can screw it on the high pressure port, and then splice it in between the wire feeding the compressor clutch or relay.......
