Put new coil on but nothing changed I was going to check vacuum on fpr and it has none is that normal at idle ? And there is a flap on my manifold when I open it it sounds better in gear and at idle and it doesn't move unless u manually move it should it be open or closed seems like that would cuase back pressure

Your first problem is this...
A period is a small dot-shaped punctuation mark that is used at the end of any sentence that is intended to make a statement.
I had to read your first post 3 time to figure out what you are trying to say. I would put a pressure gauge on it and see if you are getting a steady fuel pressure. Also does it make any difference if the engine is hot or cold? Does a 88 have a temp gauge?
