Default speedo

ok now that ive got brake lights and signals ,,how to fix that darn speedo.. its not working...????? Whats with dodge's and there dang speedo problems....?????

What year?

Up thru 89 is purely mechanical. 90-93 is mechnical at the trans and electric in the dash.

FIrst thing is to be sure the output at the trans spins with the drivetrain.

ops sorry its a 92 ram 150.. the odometer also dont work if thats part cause... really dont need speedo but it would be nice to see how fast im running....

FIrst thing is to be sure the output at the trans spins with the drivetrain.

The odo and speedo usually fail independently, so its more likely an upstream problem.

Ok ill have a look soon as i get time.
What should i be looking for when i do get in there ????

I meant when i open up the dash what should i be looking for at the speedo ???

Start at the other end. Its very unlikely the speedo and odo fail at the same time.

I'm living with at least 2 broken odo's right now. No broken speedos.

Edit: if you are in the dash already, make sure the harness connector is attached properly; and no broken wires.

ok Thank you. truck is going in shop for steering fix after it gets out ill crawl under and have a look.

Odometer is usually a small gear to be replaced... as seen in this video... starting at 6 min.
