Default Help me.....no start

Hey guys,
I just got a hold of a 92 Dodge 1/2ton 4x4 with a 5.2 V8 automatic. Now my problem is that it wont start...no power when you turn the key. I checked the battery, starter, relays etc. If we jump the starter at the solenoid it starts and runs great. Does anyone know what the problem is???? im thinkin its possibly the ingition switch is bad

Neutral safety switch on the tranny or its wiring may be bad.

I'll have to look at the wiring diagrams. Was the connector on the ignition switch burned or melted?
With the key on pull fuse #8 and check for voltage on the fuse terminals in the fuse block..one side should have voltage.

Does the starter relay click when you turn the key to start?

You may have several problems. Here is your start system wiring. The relay must get 12 volts from the igntion switch(in start)on A41 16YL(yellow) and it gets a ground from the NSS thru T41 18BR/YL
