Get a junkyard hitch for $25, cut the ends off it to make it flush all the way across the top, then weld it to the front crossmember. That's what I did and it's working out pretty good.

Actually went mudding today, but no shots of the rig. Gorgeous day with friends and the kids.

There was an unusual number of fullsize dodges out. We had super big rain yesterday and into the night. This one dodge came on a trailer and had evidence of being rolled. No windshield and passenger glass. It was on a mission to go dead. Appeared mostly stock. I have some video and awaiting its upload.

Pics for now.

Looks like fun man! I'd love to test my truck out there! Good thing to clean up fairly quick after, I wanted to show off my muddy truck and left the river muck on there for 2 days, yeah it started to stick.

Might I suggest a camera with either a zoom or better zoom feature?

I have excuses for that well made slam, I mean critique!

I was playing leader. I tested the hole depths. So then I'd be the one filming to watch them. It's my Droid 1 phone, yeah, that old by smart phone standards, but it rocks. Zooming in can be just a PITA. I've done it sometimes and it ends being wasted or lost footage b/c of rubbing the sausage finger on it. lol

My plan is to get a GoPro and put it on a boom.......stick.

This mud was real good to be in b/c its been super dry. So the mud holes didn't immediately sink and grab ppl. Some holes just looked that way though.
