I'm not ready to call the SCT a failure by any means. I do notice great performance increase on the 93 tune. But in my opinion which I'm still forming, plugging in a generic one size fits all tune is gonna be hit and miss, really gonna need a custom tune on a dyno to get it right.

I can give some reference points for the RPMs, I have stock gears and tires.
Third gear
5000rpm @ 128mph
I'll get back to you with more rpm points and add them to the graph

Yeah, I'll see what I can do about a dyno over here. I've got to ask around.

I'm not interested in a SCT. I've seen enough threads that had problems. That's not meaning in general SCT is problematic, it could very well be user-error. Oh my, what a concept. You just don't see any admittance on that end.

I have a superchips 3715, I believe. I've read that its not supported anymore, or at least not sold. People with them have the option to have it updated by mailing in...or a discount towards purchasing the latest tuner. I don't know if the latest is much of an improvement other than data logging and internet updates.

Just noticed this message from Hemifever from when I puchased it.
'Every Dodge model truck out there has a different fuel curve. Even the same year truck can have 4 different pcm's each with a different fuel curve. So the changes I make are a generic fit all and getting on the dyno is the true way to dial it in'
My local turbo shop says towing and gas turbo/supercharger aren't a good match cause the cylinders over heat. Gonna get custom tuning and headers, and I'm watching to see how Wh1t3's cam install turns out.

I would much rather see a DF member do a stock dyno run but I did find this chart with a supposed stock run.

This info was found @ The speedfreeks.net and is possibly the one Hughes had posted on their web site @ one time.

http://thespeedfreaks.net/showthread...ust-FYI)/page8

Run 4 is the factory piece
Run 7, the M-1 2bbl
Run 14 the M-1 4bbl
Run 22 the Hughes intake.

Doesn't matter. Dyno has both rear wheels sitting on the rollers anyway.

I LIKE the numbers the Air Gap puts down though.... Wish the colors showed better though.... (or, my eyes could differentiate them better......)

Lotta good info on that post, thanks!
Looks about right, that was a 2wd truck and mine isn't too far off from that.
I got Hemifever to update my tunes, no charge. He curved fuel on both tunes and advanced timing on my 87 tune a little. Gonna hit the dyno again some time this week.
