My first Dyno results
Thanks for the info...although I'm very sure my truck will never do 128 mph except on some dyno rollers. I was trying to determine if the 20 ft lb increase happened at a usable rpm.
Generic tunes are always a hit and miss....

87 octane, factory tune:
Horsepower: 193.61
Torque: 248.25
87 octane, SCT tune:
Horsepower: 197.68
Torque: 272.04
93 Octane, SCT Tune:
Horsepower: 201.13
Torque: 265.46
A bit more power, and less torque???? Really? AM I reading that wrong??

You got it right. And running too rich at WOT. Gonna put a vacuum guage on it and see if it reads 0 at WOT. You don't think the AIT in the air cleaner would cause it to run too rich?
That last pull may have been started at a higher RPM than the previous pulls although it's hard to tell as they first pulls were in MPH
The last pull started at 3300RPM and the peak torque for the stock cam is closer to 3200.
And Sean is known to tune rich, beat him until he leans that sucker out

Sean is workin with me, he wanted know if my vacuum was 0 at WOT some trucks are around 2, so I checked it today and it is 2, he said he only changed fuel at 0 vacuum not at 2. He'll get me another tune soon. He also wanted me to check for any restriction that would cause it to still pull vacuum, like dirty filter, what have you. Gauge read 2 at WOT with and without the air cleaner installed.
Speaking of restriction, something that's been bothering me since I installed my F1 intake, I learned, shortly after it was installed, that your not supposed to put sealant around the intake ports as it may bleed out into the intake causing a restriction, and the fuel reacts with it softening it up. My fears were confirmed today when I scoped the intake. Hard to say how much effect this has but I don't think I can expect any more performance gains till this is fixed. I may have to make time to fix this soon. Do you guys think this would have an effect on performance?
