My truck is a tool - like a hammer - I'm so busy working with it I don't have time to pose for a picture

These are all pretty old pics..done a few things to the truck since then. The canopy in the last pic is now painted black around the windows and white to match the truck, really only put on during camping trips though

Just get a 2in drop hitch and flip it upside down. Will sit much better I have a brand new 2in drop and I never use it cause I like the tri ball hitch. I tow with my buddys 12ft single axle and it likes the 2 in ball then with our 20ft double axle trailer it likes the 2 5/16in ball so the tri ball is way nicer.

oh so if it is flipped up it hits the bumper? do they make recievers that still go into the hitch as far but stick out farther? i'm not exactly sure maybe you could find something like that, that would raise it...it def should be at least level haha at least thats how I like it when I tow stuff

Yeah I forgot that for some reason his hitch is like back to far. I have the same one on my truck and its perfect.

00dak see if this is where yours is mounted? Sorry only 2 pics I have with the hitch in it.

My dakota pulls the trailer empty, plus if we have to go to home depot/haul anything that wont it under dad's lid, we take my truck. No to mention it gets a little roughed up off-road every now and then. (I was just goofing off in the pics below)

dodgeramguy, mines looks just like that one only with the smaller reciever, 1-1/2'' i think. both my single and doable axle use the stndard ball size. the ball is now a little behind the ball hole in the bumper. so if i just lifted 2 inchs it would hit the bottom of the bumper. i see people with lifted trucks use a receiver with a 45 angle on it that also sticks out more maybe that'll work fliped.

My truck was purchased to haul our Camping gear, Kayaks and bicycles around.

I needed a truck that had room for myself, dog... oh and the wife too.

I'll eventually get a proper hitch, but I still want it too look good, so I have plans for paint, upgrades to the cosmetic features etc.

I didn't buy it with the intention of hauling around dirt, or wood or other ****, but if that's what I need to do with it, I'll do it. Why not right? I've got it...
