Maybe your hitch wasnt made for your truck. Mine is perfect its the class III which is like 5,000 or 6,000 lb

I finally got to take my trailer for a little drive bad part is looking back you cant see it if nothing is on it but not bad for what I paid.

It must of been for a longer hitch or something. The last hole on my hitch(where it mounts to the frame) was right on the rivets that hold the spare tire holder to the frame. When I had my bed off I cut the rivets out and added another bolt for added strength.

I'm too busy haulin the jet ski or whatever else I may want to toss in my truck, but I've done my share of "truckin around" in mine. Great trucks for moving. I know a lot of people that just can't stay in one place. Load up the bed and the flatbed get em moved in no time. Also helps all but maybe one of my friends have trucks too.

That's just sad to think about. my friends dad bought a F150 4x4 new in 96, paid a lot extra for the big 5.8 mod engine with a 5sp, added a giant winch and bumper to it and it hardly ever even left the yard. no towing, no hauling just commuting every now and then. When he died last year and my buddy got the truck we went to pick it up and it had 22k miles on it. Now it gets to live like a truck should. That same friend uses his 95 dak as a work horse too. we've hauled car's trucks and vans on it several times and even had 1k lbs of scrap in the bed with 2k lbs on the trailer one day. All with a 2wd v-6 automatic. That little truck is freakin awesome. Just a couple months ago I used my 97 2wd 5.2 5sp R/T clone to haul a 30 ft motorhome on a trailer to the scrap yard. Freakin work it baby.

I bought my truck because i wanted one. I have no need for one! I like the way it looks. I don't haul anything, i don't go off road and i don't use it as a work truck. The only thing i have ever hauled was me flat screen tv when i bought it!! For me it's like owning a car. Just love it!!!!
