Convertor guy is giving to me for $150 and a core, usually charges 200. My paycheck should be $700. Minus 200 for books, minus 300 for meth injection, minus $150 for convertor, leaves $50 for gas. Works for me. Trans specialist at work that has a couple of classic cars said he'll help me do the convertor swap.

We're doing a video marketing project, boss said to invoice for $500 when we do it, so that's going to pay for the Powertrax No-Slip.

3 regular paychecks should get me the MSD stuff, and the slicks are a wishful thinking after my school $$ gets taken care of.

In order of happening:

1. Performance Torque Convertor (21-2500 stall) $150

2. Methanol Injection ($268):
- a. Pump - $140
- b. Nozzle - $27
- c. Tubing - $30
- d. Tank - $11
- e. Blockoff Solenoid - $60

3. MSD ignition ($425):
- a. MSD 6A Plus Ignition Box - $300
- b. HVC Coil - $125

4. Custom Hemifever All-Out Tune (already paid for)

5. Powertrax No-Slip Locker - $490

6. Slicks and Wheels ($497):
- a. M/T 3019 slicks - $391
- b. Cragar 15x8's - $106

Total: $1,830 ($1,333 without tires/wheels)...after variances, shipping, ect, figure it'll round off to around $1,950 ($1,390).

The convertor guy said I should be able to hit my goal of 8.99 or better with the convertor now. It's basically a crapshoot, but he's going to do what he can. No guarantee on the stall but he thinks around 2500 depending on how much power I make, based on his 2800 RPM units for other dakotas.

The smaller tires alone should get me to 9.80. Meth injection, tuning, and MSD should get me to 9.50. Convertor should be good for a 9-teen or so.

So I'll be close.

Since I'm not doing the tire swap anytime soon, I figure I should hit 10.50-10.60 with the street tires.

The MSD 6520 is on sale with free S&H at Summit. Unfortunately, $465 (box + coil + wire kit) + $150 convertor = $615. My check is only $700 before taxes. Sad panda.

So this week's check is for convertor, meth injection stuff and textbooks (And maybe trans cooler if any $$ is left). From there, Sean and I can work on the tune for the PCM

$140 of each paycheck for the next 5 weeks (Should be about $200-225 each after taxes) will go towards the trans cooler (If I don't have it already), MSD, and wideband O2.

Then Sean and I can make something happen with the PCM and SCT, and start to really make power from the V6. Give me hell for doing it, but the V6 is an inherent budget limiter and still makes respectable power once I ditch about 150 pounds of dead weight (spare + 20# per corner after tire change).

Picked up the convertor today. $150 pure cash. Gonna see about putting it in on Saturday the 2nd (Dad has a business meeting).

Ordering the meth injection stuff tonight so I can start getting it fabbed in.

Also tacking the trans cooler to this order.

$275 meth stuff + $190 cooler = $465

I may switch the cooler lines to -6 SS AN line if I have leak problems.

Summit can't do math, apparently.

Got the Methanol stuff lined out today. Went with a 1/2 gallon tank.

So next is the MSD and all-out tune. Found the MSD I want for $195 on racingjunk, I only have $150 in my wallet right now and no steady job. So that might be a bit. But as soon as it's in, I'll get sean to cut me a HO tune.

1. Performance Torque Convertor (21-2500 stall) $150 - Done

2. Methanol Injection ($268) - Done
- a. Pump - $140
- b. Nozzle - $27
- c. Tubing - $30
- d. Tank - $11
- e. Blockoff Solenoid - $60

3. MSD ignition ($425):
- a. MSD 6A Plus Ignition Box - $300
- b. HVC Coil - $125

4. Custom Hemifever All-Out Tune (already paid for)

5. Powertrax No-Slip Locker - $490

6. Slicks and Wheels ($497):

Default My Wishlist....hmmmm

My wish list is taller piston's for more compression, 212x cams for both top and bottom end power increase, stage 2 port and polish on the heads, and then a SCT tune with wideband......was told that all that would put my truck at around 300-350 RWHP.....currently at 215. Now the last time I priced all this stuff it was like 5k.....that was about 3 or 4 years ago.

I want the MSD 6520 ($300) and 8253 coil ($185), but the 8252 coil ($125) is equivalent, just a little less power. I found the 6520 + 8252 for $260, but I only have $150 to my name right now...
