My goal is to keep my truck in great shape and make it to 200,000 miles. It's at 166,000 now. Also need to repaint the tops of the doors and the top area above the rear side windows, the clear coat is slowly flaking off. Will need to replace the headliner soon, it is just starting to sag in the rear and little chunks are falling from the front. 2001 Dakota Club Cab, 3.9 and NV 3500 5-speed. All stock except for a V8 TB, Autolite 3923's, 180 degree thermostat and home-modified air intake box. My truck has a few cosmetic issues but it runs, drives and rides great.

Unless mine is very lucky....it may not see 200,000 on the street....but it's been good to me (considering how I beat it) so I'm just gonna snuggle the blurred line between street and strip.

Put a system in it, 408 swap, lower 2/2 or 2/3, re drill axle shafts and hubs for 5x4.5 and put some 15" Cragar ss on it, get a new CTM, get dings removed and completely detail truck. My plan is to keep this truck forever.

My Dakota runs well and overall good condition. Cab top starting to lose clear coat and needs a/c fixed, so i think that is top on the list. Going to get a PCM/ECM tune and new set of tires this summer also.

My goal is to keep my transmission from blowin up on me lol!

In all seriousness I am looking for another vehicle, but I will not replace my Dak.

I plan on replacing that 02 Corolla I bought to get me around while I swapped Engines with a newer fuel efficient car.

The Dak will only be used when I need the truck.
