That's good Dan. It really does not seem like much out of the ordinary given the age of your truck and especially the climate up north. I have heard and read about how a lot of vehicles don't last near that long with all the snow, salt and sand they have to use on the roads up there. Dakota's are great trucks. I am at 176K on mine now and hope to get to 200K and beyond.

I think it's pretty good too Jim. It's mostly just due to wear and time. I'm not complaining one bit.

I do see a lot of 2nd gen Dakota's in my area still, my neighbor has an '01 quad cab and hasn't had many problems either.

Hit the 15 year mark last August 27th. Getting her repainted in the spring. I only have around 69K on the clock and no plans to replace her. At the rate I'm putting the miles on I'll be around 80 years old when I hit 150k.

Have had my 2000 cc SLT 4.7 since new. Has been a great truck. My daily driver is still going strong with 169000 miles.

I had my 1997 for 13 years. It did everything I needed it to do and then some. There was an issue getting electrical parts for something that old, so I figured I would step into the future 10 years lol. Sold it with 205,000 on it. 5.2L XLT
