I was thinking the same thing. It might sound like crap because of a wild street cam. Just make sure it is bone stock.

It's somewhat hard to tell by ear - there's a fine line between a built motor that's on the ragged edge of not being streetable and a motor that's about to puke a rod. They can sound really similar, especially if the dying one has a decent exhaust.

I used to do it all the time with a 64 Riviera stock looking and quiet. (936hp at the wheels on a chassis dyno)
