Default r/t wheels

ok, this may be a dumb question but does anyone know wjere i can get a set of chrome r/t wheels for my 2000 dakota? i have called a couple of junk yards around here and no one has any. i called the dealer and i about laughed when the guy told me $581 per wheel thats over $2300 just for the wheels and then tires on top of that. is there anyone that makes a cheaper replica? any info would be appreciated.

Yeah chrome R/T wheels kick ***. Check ebay, they are on there quite a bit. You can also get regular silver R/T wheels and get chrome skins for em. You can't even tell the difference. Or check out this place. www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com They make replica R/T wheels in silver AND chrome. I think they are like $250 a piece for chrome.

Just check, they are $237.50 for the replica's and $312 for the actual OEM ones, but the replicas are the same thing, just get those.

yea they are quite a bit cheaper. ok this may sound dumb, but what does oem mean? does that mean they are from dodge? and if so how can they sell them around 200 dollars cheaper then a dealer?

oem is factory built, replica is not factory, useally cheaper, but the same, the only diffrence from the 2 are the center caps, reps dont have the dodge emblem on them, the oems do, but you can find center caps on ebay to.. pretty cheap.

Also if you look around local dakota sites, people sell them off all the time.

Dakota-Durango.com has alot of selling. Along with this site.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) They can sell them so cheap because they are probably take offs, and even if they arent, dealerships always have a higher mark-up. but they're probably just take offs.
