Default Tailgate Lettering

Ok, I'm thinking about taking off the lettering on my tailgate. So I guess I'm asking what would be the easiest why? I knowyou probably dont wanna use arazorblade...thata about it.

well I took mine off on a hot summer day...they just peeled right off. Just make sure the metal is pretty warm. Keep it in teh sun.

Use a blow dryer & the edge of an old credit card. Clean up with 3M adhesive remover.

Nope.

I used fishing wire and some WD-40...

Worked perfectly.

You might see a little shadow of the lettering, but it's hard to tell. Dark colors i wouldn't imagine it wld be visible

I took the stupid dealer sticker off mine, and you can still kinda see where it was. but with a lighter colour, it shouldnt be noticable.

Well peeps....I appreciate all the help on how to get rid of the lettering, hopefully it will turn out good and not show too much discoloration. If so its amedium colortruck, so it shouldn't show badly.....hopefully.
