Also I looked up the NAPA #530080 and it is a stat for a 5.9. While it's diameter is "very" close to the 4.7 diameter, it is without the nipple. The 4.7 NAPA #380195. Give it a look www.napaonline.com

i wanna know how the 160 degree is supposed to keep it in warm up mode when i read somewhere that warmup mode ends at 145 degrees

it will keep it in open loop, instead of closed, using more gas but better performance..

Again this stat listed in http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...rtNumber=65358 does not have that nipple on it. It's clearly a different design than for the 4.7. However, if people are using THAT type of design and it works, I'm there too. I just find it hard to believe that if dodge went out of their way to design a stat that's different, there must be a reason for it. So again, anyone out there with a 4.7 using a 180 deg stat WITHOUT the nipple I'd love to hear your results.
