overfilled oil?

well i went to check it today and it asn't overfilled, it was right at the full line so it must of went to the filter i guess after driving it. weird

Just a tip, it may be easier to control how much oil comes out by just removing the filter, and draining the oil thats in there. It may take 2 or 3 times at doing this but that way you don't lose too much. Also if you check the oil level after removing AND replacing the filter, be sure to start up the truck to make sure that the oil circulates and you get a proper reading on the dipstick. just my .02
I like your .02 ! Overfilled crankcase can totally destroy an engine and any overfill that results in the oil being whipped into chocolate cool whip WILL cause lubrication issues and smoke your engine !
