dude, those trucks arent really that fast. a bigger throttle body, m1 intake manifold, 1.7 roller rockers, and a free flowing exhaust and you'll whip him. get a set of slicks on the back and im sure you'll beat him. most of the time races are won by the driver if 2 vehicles are relatively equal.

 

haha yea no kidding...yea i had seen that sniper body kit on ebay there and it looks nice, im savin up some money and i was either thinkin of goin with the body kit or some nice rims, haha i just dont know...im not sure if the r/t rims would look good with the sniper kit or not...who knows maybe ill put some performance upgrades in... i hear rockers are a cheap and easy mod to do

 

Meh, your RTs must be a lot faster than my SLT. All I know is that mine is heavy and not fast.

 

yea the r/ts are damnd fast, they really move, my friend has a 4x4 durango r/t and he can out run the rams so you know they are fast but idk how much faster than ur truck although they dont have the extra axle or t-case that urs does and most of them are single cab, thats alot of weight lost there

 

Actually, most are extended cab But still much lighter.

 

Ya SC are harder to find, less production numbers. CC are more common.

In my Dakota Club here in Texas, im the only one with a SC Dakota...

 

really, i think i have only seen 1 or 2 r/ts that were not single cab, most of them around here are either durangos or single cabs, i guess it depends on the area

 

Well around here there isnt many R/T's around here. For some reason the dealers dont get them in.

 

There is nearly NONE around here in Maine. I had to buy mine from Nevada and have it transported here to Maine.

 

You should beat him stock for stock. The R/Ts run what, high 14s stock ? Thats what the rams run with the hemis, in a regular cab. So, you should beat him.
