Are there any modification I can do to a 2003 dakota with a 3.9 v6 to make it faster ,besides k & N filter .

 

Doing a search for "performance", for example, and you will find all you need to know.

 

Just start out with an intake and a good sounding exhaust. That should keep you happy for awhile.

Save the rest of your money for gas

 

super chip it, reduce as much weight as possible, throttle body upgrade but that requires the intake manifold to be hand bored out with a dremel to see gains with that, if you want to make her faster off the line and not worried about fuel milage, 4.10 rear would do the trick

What would be the point of all that, you would struggle to keep up with a stock sohc neon?

 

uhh... i dont have that much work done to mine, and i can whoop up on most cars out there on the street. only thing that kills my *** is T/As, Cameros, **** like that.. the 5.9 with the work mentioned above would ****ing smoke a neon... no doubt..

 

haha yea, not bashin the 3.9 or anythin but doin all that stuff to it would it be worth it? like would u see any big gains like u would if u put it on a 5.9?

 

Im not looking to race the truck, I just wont more power with a 3.9, to pull a boat or somthing and to have a better take off at a light
