great question, ive been thinking about doing this. either off a durango or an R/T if nothing else just for the look with my new rims. i havnt looked into it but i would think all youd need are the caliper brackets. all the other parts could be had new from a parts store

I didn't think any of this bodystyle came with rear disc......
It would be a sweet swap tho. Too bad you can't swap the rears out of the newer ones....

If you swap out the drums for durango disks you might need to change master cylinder/brake booster to meet the higher pressure needs of the disks

actually its been done by more than a few people. but what it is is a viper conversion kit. It changes the front and rear, it gives new and bigger rotors and calipers. I have herd that the kit isnt percise, so get ready to do some fabing yourself. You can run stock rims though (15") the rotors are two big, i think the 17" R/T rims will work. The kit is a few G's

My 03 quad cab slt has disc all the way around.

I've never looked real close but just guessing they are OEM.

Truck stops real well.
