That's just funny. Most people when they see the lol at the end of a statement its a joke or they are having fun, nothing to do with being serious in anyway. The following statement is just me stating my opinion and someone will obviously get pissed, but we'll see... I can google too... lol

I forgot to mention, what happened to peoples sense of humor? It never fails, when people see stuff typed they take everything out of context and get all worked up about nothing. I figure this will probably not help, I felt like posting.

To the OP, yes it can be done with time, money patience, and knowledge. I think the I6, may be a tad big for a Dak, but instead of moving the firewall back, maybe you could lengthen the front end and nove everything foward. I drive a Dak, and love the CTD Rams. To see a Dak with a diesel would be something you don't see everyday....

I know Coal Train personally. Post count is small HERE compared to his knowledge of a CTD. He is very good at researching what will and will not work. He is not one of the CTD guys that hands some else a handful of money and lets them build an engine for them. He does all his own work.

I guess I didn't interpret the LOL at the end of your post ("Your an elder...") as being the same as "I'm just kidding around guy," instead I took it was, "Lol, what an rtard, 150 posts coming in here thinking he might actually know something without having 4,000 posts on this forum."
(Probably because LOL is the most overused acronym in the word. Lol.)
So, that's where I was coming from.

wow, that is definately a beast of a truck. Imagine how fast a 4000 pound dakota would be with your cummins in it. I'd be willing to guess low 10's in the 1/4, possibly 9's. I would take a 440 6-pack with a big lopey cam in my dakota over a cummins 10 times out of 10, but thats just my prefrence. I guess I stay away from diesels because I have no idea how to work on them. I've never had one or even known anybody who has one, except for my dad who owns a freightliner semi so they are kinda foreign to me. I have respect for people who do cummins swaps and those who mod the **** out of rams with cummins so they push over a thousand lb/ft of torque because thats SERIOUS power that I would love to have... but i'll just stick to gas engines.

Nice work though. I cant imagine how much time effort and money it takes to push that cummins to the power numbers you have there.
