P1757 GOV Pressure Not Equal To Target @ 15-20 PSI The requested pressure and the actual pressure are not within a tolerance band for the Governor Control System which is used to regulate governor pressure to control shifts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. (Zero Pressure Malfunction)

I don't know, all I know is my wife called me and said that the truck would not go over 20mph and when I got home and checked the code that is what came up. I checked the oil and it was a little low so I added a quart and some STP oil treetment and it shifts ok but still is throwing the same code.

Just to clear this up, you cleared the code after adding the fluid and treatment, and the same code came back?

No, I didn't. Can I clear it by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

Replace the Governor solenoid and transducer, and change the filter. Also adjust the bands if needed. Then clear you codes. If you like the diag sheet for code P1757 just send a pm. Leonard
