I went with the Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 instead of the regular 40. Cat back with dual exhaust out the back. Muffler was a couple bucks more, but it sounds great, and is actually designed to keep interior resonance low.

OK....where does one find FlowMaster Systems? I've looked on the Net a bit and only found FlowMaster mufflers and Magnaflow systems!

If you want a loud sound and pretty quiet interior, get the Flowmaster 50 series. I promise it isn't much quieter outside and it provides a MUCH quieter interior noise. It's also made better from a better guage steel as opposed the the 40's aluminum structure.

I know I will love it when I am driving by myself, but I am concerned about the inside sound level sincethis truck is also our "family" truck. In other words, is the FM 40 or super 40 "family friendly" or is it just going to be too much? if it is the case what else would you guys recommend (50 series...less loud inside but is it loud enough outside?)
Any inside sound recording available?
Thanks in advance
i know its old but what did you end up getting and how was it inside the cab?

the super 40 should be fine but you might need to do an universal pipe kit with the muffler havent found many flowmaster dak exhaust kits. Even my current exhaust had to me made since i wanted to use a 3 inch magnaflow cat to a 3 inch pro series muffler.
