Ok, im not sure where to look for performance parts for my 04 Dak with the 3.7L. Anyone that has performance cams or anything that will actually build up performance?

I havent seen anyone doing anything yet for th 3.7 v6... you might want to check out krcperformance.com and give them a buzz to see if they have anything in the works.

couple of suggestions I could give would be to get a CAI and a v8 TB, plus a cat back exhaust. keep the outputs small to minimize low end torque loss (& mileage)

maybe... call the dealer and find out if the same pn is used for the v8 TB gasket as the v6. if they are the same, then you will most likely be able to use it. the next q i'd ask is if the p/n's for the tb are the same. if they are then there is nothing to be gained from it. I know with the 3.9 mag motors you can get approx 10 hp from the v8 TB swap. I just havent been messing with the 4.7's enough to tell you for sure.

Sorry for the dumb questions. But really how much performance do you get from changing the throttle body? Is it worth it for the price?

Which TB should I look into getting? The 4.7 or maybe 5.9?

5.9 is a completely different motor than the 4.7. it's throttle body has two bores, the 4.7 and 3.7 are a single bore design with one throttle plate. in all honesty i dont know if a 4.7 TB will bolt to a 3.7 though, I think they're the same but im not sure.
